Colorado Cardiac CPR provides the ASHI First Aid CPR AED certification class suitable for both initial Certification and ongoing Recertification purposes.
Class Duration: Approximately five hours; however, actual duration varies depending on:
- Specific class size, which is normally very small, averaging only two to five students per session
- Individual skill level and background
- Time devoted to classroom discussion
- Hands-on practice time, skills testing, and remediation if required
Upon Successful Completion:
- ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) two-year certification credential
- Electronic certification card (eCard) received shortly after class completion
- Accreditation from ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute)
Who Should Take This Course:
This course fulfills OSHA First Aid and CPR requirements. This training is intended for individuals outside the healthcare field who seek to learn fundamental CPR and First Aid techniques for emergency preparedness and response.
School Notes: All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room.
We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.
