Ready to stitch up something amazing? Our Machine Sewing Basics class is the perfect introduction for kids ages 9–13 who want to learn how to use a sewing machine with confidence. 

Students will discover how to thread a machine, practice sewing straight lines and simple seams, and complete fun beginner projects like tote bags, pouches, scrunchies, bookmarks, aprons, and more.

No experience needed — we provide all machines, tools, and fabric. Young makers will build practical skills, creative confidence, and a foundation for more advanced sewing projects in the future.

Notes:

  • Our workshops are designed to be developmentally appropriate for the age range listed, so that each child feels empowered and successful, not frustrated. In order to set everyone up for success, we insist that all participants must be the appropriate age, as listed.

Refund Policy

Workshop is non-refundable. Credit issued up to 10 days prior to workshop. No credits or refunds issued for cancellations within 10 days of workshop.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
