Description

Waste not want not! We’re upcycling cardboard boxes to design, build, and decorate our own structures. Learn notching, hinge and cut techniques to create structurally sound creations. Immersive art box, fort, fairy house, robot costume? Come imagine and create with us!

We kindly ask that all students be 6 years of age and up for this camp. Students will be working with tools that may not be appropriate for younger students. Engineering concepts and understanding may be out of reach for students under 6.

Notes

We offer special pricing for full-week enrollments. Please be aware that for drop-in sessions, no credits or refunds will be provided if the cumulative cost exceeds the full-week price. This pricing structure is designed to offer flexibility while promoting the benefits of full-week engagement.

Class Requirements

We use several types of tools in our maker workshops and camps.
In order for students to fully participate, we expect them to:
Use scissors independently
Use a hot glue gun independently.

Our camps and workshops tend to be messy, especially our STEAM sessions and process art classes. We frequently use paint, sticky substances like resin and clay, and tools like screwdrivers and cardboard saws. Please send children in clothes that can get something on them that may not wash out.

Cancellation Policy

15 or more days from START OF CAMP WEEK: full refund, -$50 deposit
11 to 14 days prior: 50% refund, minus $50 deposit
6 - 10 days prior to START OF CAMP WEEK: Credit only
5 days prior to START OF CAMP WEEK or less: NONREFUNDABLE/NO CREDIT

Refund Policy

Workshop is non-refundable. Credit issued up to 10 days prior to workshop. No credits or refunds issued for cancellations within 10 days of workshop.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
