What you'll learn in this forklift training:

Operators who complete this OSHA certified forklift course will be able to operate Class C Forklifts.

OSHA certification protects against heavy fines and potential liability. Other benefits include: lower maintenance costs, reduced material damage, increased efficiency and fewer near-miss accidents (or more serious accidents). When properly trained, operators will no longer guess about the best approach, balance and moving up load.

To get the most benefit, many students from this school schedule their forklift training immediately after passing their CDL road test.

Why is forklift training and certification important?
Trucking companies see hiring a driver that is OSHA-certified to operate a Forklift as a huge plus. This can allow you to load your own truck load which cuts down on potential costs for the company. This also allows you to potentially work in the warehouse when delivery orders are slow. This all equals to better job security.

Refund Policy

Except for contracts executed by the schools licensed by the New York State Education Department and subject to the refund provisions of regulations promulgated by that department, prepayment for lessons and other services shall be subject to refund as follows:

If the student, having given at least 24 hours prior notice withdraws from or discontinues a prepaid course of instructions or series of lessons before completion thereof, or from any other service for which prepayment has been made or if the school is unable or unwilling to complete such prepaid course of instruction or series of lessons, or to provide such other prepaid service, all prepayment made by the student to the school shall be refunded except:

an amount equal to the enrolment fee, if any, specified in the contract or expressly receipted for, not to exceed the sum of $10 or 10% of the total, whichever is greater, specified cost of such course of instruction or series of lessons and
the schools per-lesson tuition charge or each lesson already taken by the student which charge shall be determined by dividing the total cost of such course of instruction or series of lessons by the number of lessons therein

Could someone learn to operate a forklift in one day?

Most people do the training and get certified all in the same day. If people need extra time to practice we provide it to them. If they really aren’t getting it then a one on one session is recommended before we can certify.

Hello, I'm a little confused, is a CDL required before signing up for this? If someone was working in a warehouse with forklifts and not driving a truck, would this be the course they're looking for? Much appreciated.

I learned alot from the training and was able to understand what is expected of me as a forklift operator. Instructor was patient and thorough. I will recommend this class to others interested in the same. I will continue instruction with the same school and teacher. Thank you.
