Outstanding class. I've taken multiple classes here and they are all very informative yet presented in a way that is easy to absord. Ian is a wonderful teacher who always goes at a steady pace and takes time to answer any questions. He even helped me figure out how to do a personal project in in Grasshopper. Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning/advancing or brushing up on Grasshopper or Rhino.

This was the third workshop I've taken here. Like the other two, the pace was very steady, and easy to follow. I am a novice at this, and really appreciate the time it takes to prepare and deliver material in such a way that new users can understand. Can't believe he's not teaching at Pratt. I would take other workshops here again, no hesitation.

Question from anonymous
Hi all! I am interested in taking this class. The information shows that its for intermediate knowledge. I am a beginner and would like to know if that's still possible to attend and learn how to use grasshopper. Also how experienced should I be in Rhino?
Answer from Elijah C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! A beginner would be fine to take the grasshopper course. It says intermediate because it is helpful to know some basics of rhino but it is possible to take the course with only cursory knowledge. Students are expected to have a laptop with rhino and grasshopper installed. This means that students have usually at least opened the program. Hope this helps!

Question from karli m.
Is it worth it to attend only 1 (out of 2) sessions? Thanks! I have a conflict for the second session date but really want to take the course.
Answer from Angelica B. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, the provider often allows for students to make up a missed class at a future session. Students would just need to let us know beforehand which make up session they'd like to attend so that we don't overbook. Class 1 is certainly worthwhile given that it is focused on essential skills for using Grasshopper. Class 2 focuses more on car looks.
