Bake the Book Series: Kids Birthday Cake & Truffles

Learn the secrets to how we make our favorite b’day cake! Join us as we teach the how’s and why’s, as we build our layer cakes together! We’ll also show you how to make our beloved b'day cake truffles with leftover cake scraps and you’ll take home your very own 6" b’day cake!

Bake the Book Series: bake through cookbook with milk bar's top notch baking team, one delicious treat at a time. We'll teach you everything you need to know to make your milk bar favorites from the book (and even some newer recipes) at home! all ages and all levels of expertise welcome.

We will provide each class with all of the necessary kitchen tools and ingredients, all you need is a pen and paper. Bring your cookbook if you have it, or purchase one once you arrive!(P.S. you get to take home everything you make!)

Please note that this is not a traditional baking class, but a class where you learn how to assemble a cake.

Note:

• Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire duration of class. 
• Please wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat, comfortable shoes. Please try to refrain from wearing open-toed shoes or sandals, as you will be baking in a FDA regulated production facility. 
• You will be provided with a hair net and headscarf before entering our kitchen, if your hair is longer than your ears length, you must pull your hair back in a elastic band please inform us if you have any severe food allergies. 
• In our classes, we will be working with ingredients such as gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts.
