Adobe InDesign Bootcamp

Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe InDesign, the professional page layout standard, used by designers and production professionals to design, preflight, and publish a broad range of documents such as brochures, catalogs, magazines and books.

This workshop is designed to get you up and running with Adobe InDesign in one day. The focus will be on step-by-step instruction leading participants through the most important tools and concepts in InDesign. 

By the end of the workshop, you will understand the basics of InDesign such as how to create a new file, place images, format text, use layers, and create print ready files. You will also learn the basics of typography and page layout design.

Preparation:

This is an introductory workshop for first time and beginning Adobe InDesign users. No prior experience with Adobe InDesign is required for this class. However we do ask that participants come with basic technical aptitude and familiarity with computers.

What to bring to class: 

All participants must bring a laptop to class. You will also need to have Adobe InDesign CS4 or higher downloaded prior to class. You can download a free trial version at the Adobe website.
