What you'll learn in this healthy cooking class:

We are turning up the heat, pulling out the blenders and sharpening our spiralizers to help you prepare delicious dishes using clean, whole foods.

This 1-day Healthy Cooking Boot Camp takes students on a ‘day-in-the-life’ of a healthy eater starting at breakfast, working our way through snacks, then on to lunch/dinner entrees and wrapping with healthy desserts all while learning key information, tips and tricks to help you on your path to healthy.

In this bootcamp, we’ll start in the classroom where you we’ll cover an introductory overview of the six pillars of health as well as additional information that reaches beyond just our kitchens:
  • 6 pillars of health
  • Real, clean, healthy food
  • Exercise/movement
  • Social connection
  • Stress management
  • Spirituality
  • Sleep
  • Why calorie counting doesn’t work
  • Nutrient-dense foods
  • Stocking your pantry and fridge
In the kitchen, we’ll steam, roast and blend up delicious dishes and sauces that you can mix and match using fresh, clean, whole foods. And we haven’t forgotten about your sweet tooth and the need to crunch!

Classes led by Culinary Nutrition Expert and Integrative Health Coach Monique Costello (Happy Eats Healthy) are based on whole, clean food with a focus on anti-inflammatory ingredients.

What to wear: 

Participants should wear closed–toe non skid shoes and long pants in all hands-on workshops. Please avoid wearing loose jewelry and clothing. Kendall will provide safety instructions, but the College is not liable for personal injury.

Refund Policy

A full refund will be issued for any class cancellation up to seven days prior to the class date. No exchanges will be given to cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the class date. If the same class is not listed for a later date, a refund can be issued. 

Kendall College reserves the right to cancel any class. Cancellations by Kendall entitle the enrollee to a full refund or exchange.

    Fun, informative class. For a large cooking school I was surprised there were not enough blenders for each group which was a little annoying.

    The instructor was great - the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 as there were not enough blenders for the amount of attendees. Also, they did not have me (or any others that registered through Coursehorse) on their list of registrants.
