Description

Our Alterations, Mending & Upcycling Workshop is a class for anyone who wants to refresh and update clothing they already own. Learn how to mend garments, shorten hems or sleeves, take something in a little bit, crop pieces, or add simple embellishments and upcycling details.

Join us once or come weekly to keep working on different projects and building your skills over time. Bring a few garments you’d like to work on, and our instructors will help guide you through the best approach for each one.

Project: Mend, alter, or upcycle your pre-made garment

Supplies: Bring a few garments you’d like to work on. This class can be done by hand or with a sewing machine. You will need basic sewing supplies like thread, pins, scissors, a hand sewing needle, and chalk.

Course Duration: 3 hours

Prerequisite: Sewing Machine Basics, Sewing 101, Sewing 101 Bootcamp, or previous sewing experience.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

You must give at least 3 business days notice to cancel or reschedule your enrollment in the Regular Classes
24 hour cancellation policy for Private Classes
Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount
