East Village Figure Drawing is an independently organized life drawing series dedicated to making art accessible, affordable, and welcoming to everyone.
Based in the heart of New York City’s East Village, we host relaxed, uninstructed figure drawing sessions featuring live nude models, with a mix of quick gesture sketches and longer poses.
Whether you’re an art student, an experienced artist, or simply curious about trying figure drawing for the first time, our sessions offer an opportunity to practice, experiment, and connect with fellow creatives.
Our goal is to build a supportive local art community where creativity comes first, experience isn’t required, and everyone feels welcome.
