Emily Nemens is the author of The Cactus League, “a wonderful, necessary read to remind you how infinite and wild other people can be,” wrote The Brooklyn Rail. She served as the editor of The Paris Review, the nation’s preeminent literary quarterly, and coeditor of The Southern Review, a storied literary journal published at Louisiana State University. Her short stories have appeared in Blackbird, Esquire, n+1, The Iowa Review, Hobart and The Gettysburg Review.
